COURSE DESCRIPTION
Learn to reap the benefits of Lean-Agile development principles in overcoming functional, organisational or geographic boundaries at the level of companies. This course on Essential SAFe or Scaled Agile Framework will introduce students to the fundamentals that guide the transition of scaling operations from one team to multiple teams in delivering a bigger working product, using the foundational blocks of Lean Thinking, SCRUM project management, DevOps, Systems Thinking and UX design.
The course will progress through the principles and different levels of SAFe implementation to demonstrate scaling up, and allow students to acquire a larger vision of delivering projects, while exploring benefits such as greater employee engagement and fiscal prudence. Key areas of study will include Agile Release Train, Program Increments, SAFe roles, rituals and incremental timelines, which will be covered through case studies and practical projects.
Learning Objectives:
- Acquire the skills to understand the SAFe environment in order to work as a Product owner, Scrum Master, or team member in an Agile SAFe approach
- Differentiate between the roles and rituals of SCRUM and SAFe
- Understanding modularity of SAFe implementation
- Ability to set up a PI
- Understanding the iterations in SAFe, in addition to the special iteration of HIP
- Ability to understand the complete picture of software development
Prerequisites: SPE-70 Lean Management and IT, SPE-120 SCRUM Project Management, SPE-210 Scrum Master, SPE-220 Scrum Product Owner, MDW_280 DevOps, minimum 650 TOEIC score
DESCRIPTION DU COURS
Apprendre à profiter des avantages des principes de développement Lean-Agile pour surmonter les limitations fonctionnelles, organisationnelles ou géographiques au niveau des entreprises. Ce cours sur l’essentiel de SAFe ou Scaled Agile Framework présentera aux étudiants les principes fondamentaux qui régissent la transition des opérations d’une équipe à plusieurs équipes dans la livraison d’un produit fonctionnel plus large, en utilisant les blocs fondamentaux de la Lean Thinking, la gestion de projet SCRUM, le DevOps, la Systems Thinking et la UX Design.
Le cours progressera à travers les principes et les différents niveaux de mise en œuvre de SAFe pour démontrer la mise à niveau, et permettre aux étudiants d’acquérir une vision plus large de la réalisation de projets, tout en explorant les avantages tels qu’un plus grand engagement des employés et la prudence fiscale. Les principaux domaines d’étude comprendront le Agile Release Train, les Program Incréments, les rôles , les rituels et les échéanciers Incrémental de SAFe, qui seront couverts par des études de cas et des projets pratiques.
Objectifs :
- Acquérir les compétences propres à comprendre l’environnement SAFe en vue de travailler en tant que Product owner, Scrum Master, ou team member dans une démarche Agile SAFe
- Faire la différence entre les rôles et les rituels de SCRUM et SAFe
- Comprendre la modularité de la mise en œuvre de SAFe
- Mettre en place un PI
- Comprendre les itérations dans SAFe, en plus de l’itération spéciale de HIP
- Comprendre la vision complète du développement logiciel
