Optional Google measurement

With your permission, the website loads Google Tag Manager container GTM-W3555X4P, Google Analytics stream G-CSWR0DHEBR and Google Ads tag AW-17961824466. The purposes are to understand website use, diagnose the performance of pages and determine whether an advertisement led to a genuine enquiry or a direct contact action.

The legal basis is your consent. Optional measurement remains disabled until you choose “Allow measurement”. Refusing or withdrawing consent does not restrict any website feature. Advertising personalization and advertising user-data consent remain disabled even when measurement is allowed.

Data and minimisation

Measurement can include the page visited, event type, contact-channel type, browser/device information, approximate location, advertising click identifiers and Google cookies. Confirmed diagnostic and quiz outcomes are recorded as event names. We do not send submitted names, email addresses, telephone numbers, enquiry subjects or free-text messages through Google Tag Manager.

Choice and retention

Your choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days and is requested again when that period or the consent-policy version expires. You can change it at any time using “Measurement settings” in the footer or on a static landing page. Withdrawing consent sends an updated denied state immediately.

GA4 user-level and event-level data are configured for a maximum of 14 months. Aggregated reporting may remain available for longer. Google Ads and Google platform retention also follow Google’s product terms and controls. See Google’s Analytics retention documentation.

Recipients and international processing

Authorized Linguistic Communication personnel and Google may receive measurement data. Google acts under its applicable service-provider and platform terms. Processing can involve systems outside France or the European Economic Area and the transfer safeguards described in Google’s documentation.

Your rights

Depending on the processing, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability and object where applicable. You can withdraw measurement consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal. Contact linguistic.com@gmail.com first so the request can be handled. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL.

Contact and enquiry data

Information submitted through an enquiry or diagnostic is used to respond to the request and provide the requested teaching or programme information. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. This operational processing is separate from optional Google measurement.
