Day 1: Role of the Product Owner — Vision, Value & Stakeholder Alignment
Define your product vision, identify users and stakeholders, and learn how to own the backlog with a value-first mindset.

Day 2: Backlog Management — Writing, Refining & Prioritizing Work
Master the Product Backlog: write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and work with your Scrum team to clarify, size, and refine features.

Day 3: Delivery Leadership — Sprint Planning, Reviews & Value Tracking
Learn how to lead through delivery. Participate in Sprint Planning, track releases, and measure success using Agile metrics and product feedback loops.

The Scrum Product Owner sits at the intersection of vision, execution, and value. This intensive course equips new and aspiring POs with the tools and mindset to build the right product — not just the requested one.

You’ll learn how to manage a backlog, work closely with stakeholders, collaborate with the Scrum Team, and continuously deliver value in dynamic, Agile environments.

Day 1 — Product Owner Role: Vision, Value & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Responsibilities of the PO in Scrum

  • Creating a compelling product vision

  • Workshop: Write your product vision statement and stakeholder map

  • What makes a healthy Product Backlog

  • User stories, epics, and themes

  • INVEST and DEEP backlog principles

  • Acceptance criteria and Definition of Done

  • Backlog refinement sessions with the team

  • Prioritization techniques: MoSCoW, WSJF, Kano

  • Workshop: Create and prioritize your own backlog

Day 3 — Delivery Leadership: Sprint Planning, Reviews & Value Tracking

  • PO’s role in Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective

  • Aligning sprint goals with product vision

  • Measuring value: velocity, customer satisfaction, release impact

  • Feedback loops, beta programs, stakeholder reviews

  • Using roadmaps and OKRs to steer product direction

  • Workshop: Run a mini Sprint Planning and Review
